Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and nothing is better to get you in the mood for love than some good old fashioned love songs. And maybe a few not so old fashioned love songs too. “I Love You” by Sarah McLachlan- McLachlan’s voice is especially beautiful on this love song. If you’re a Sarah McLachlan fan, try downloading her song “Ice Cream,” as well (another love song).

“Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley- A classic, and one of Presley’s best songs.

“Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton- This song was the song at many a prom (maybe even yours) but it’s a classic that still holds up today.

“You are Always on My Mind” by Willie Nelson- This is a great love song for country music fans or not.

“Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak- Isaak’s haunting voice will mesmerize you and your sweetie.

“I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston- Houston’s voice is so strong in this song- and the message of love rings loud and true.

“Everything I Do (I Do It For You)” by Bryan Adams- This is one of Bryan Adams’ rare love songs and it’s a perfect way to express your love to your main squeeze.

“You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker- Your sweetheart will love hearing that she is beautiful, even if Joe Cocker is the one saying it.

“Lovesong” by The Cure- For a more modern edge to the love song, this great track by The Cure will get you in the mood for love. There’s also a more recent version of this song by the band 311. Take your pick.

“Annie’s Song” by John Denver- Call the lyrics corny if you want, but this is one of the most beautiful love songs ever. Do a Google search for the lyrics to this song and you’ll see what I mean. P.S. You don’t have to be named Annie to love this song!

“You Had Me From Hello” by Kenny Chesney. Chesney wrote this song for his then-love, Renee Zellweger. It was a tribute to her famous line from the movie “Jerry Maguire”. Even though their love connection didn’t last, this song lives on in infamy.
